Despite our fascination with thinness, fat-free foods, and the omnipresent weight programs and products, America is getting fatter. Researches recently reported that approxminately 25.6% were obese and out of that total 26.4% were men and 24.8% of women were obese. The obesity prevalence ranged from 19.1% for men and women aged 18–29 years to 31.7% and 30.2%, respectively, for men and women aged 50–59 years.
